Date window: a reusable inclusion or exclusion period, applied as an overlay on the time constraints of classes, groups and courses as well as on the availability of classrooms, to control when their lessons can be scheduled in calendar mode.

A date window is a reusable date inclusion or exclusion period that restricts when certain lessons can be scheduled. Defined once on the edit screen of a calendar timetable, it then applies as an overlay on the time constraints of classes, groups and courses as well as on the availability of classrooms.

Reserved for calendar-type timetables, on Premium accounts.

Two types

  • Allowed lessons — lessons can only be scheduled during these dates.
  • Excluded lessons — lessons cannot be scheduled during them.

Multiple windows stack; where they overlap, an exclusion takes precedence over an allowed period.
